The Deal : Intellecap is a group based out of India that works in the micro finance/social venture capital space. They are looking for someone for their business development team on both their knowledge and insight teams. These particular position involves working developing the business model and advertising base for both their Beyond Profit and Microfinance Insights magazines.

Fellowship: Blue Engine Education Fellows

The Deal: We wrote about Blue Engine once before. They are an educational nonprofit start up that grew out of past alumni of the Teach for America program. Read more about them here. They have recently announced they are accepting application for their fellows programs which includes a stipend to do some high impact tutoring.

Job: Cleantech U Project Director

Netimpact + Partners

The Deal: Net Impact in partnership with Ashoka Changemakers Campus Initiative is seeking to create hubs of entrepreneurship in clean tech and sustainability on university campuses across the United States. This position is to manage, grow and work with select campuses to make it happen. The job includes national travel and is either based in San Francisco or Washington DC.

Fellowship and Job: Atlas Corp

The Deal: The Atlas Corps has opened up new fellowship positions and is hiring entry level stuff for their DC office. Applicants who are Arabic speakers, Muslim, or sub-Saharan with IT skills and human rights experience are preferred. Atlas Corps facilitates international cooperation at the citizen level. Job: Athletes for Africa, Communication + Fundraising Positions

Athletes for Africa

The Deal: Athletes for Africa is most well known for their yearly Gulu Walk which raises awareness about the night commutes of children in Northern Uganda. They also run yearly fundraiser/awareness building events such as soccer tournaments with indie rockstars from the likes of Broken Social Scene and Weezer competing against people like Michael Cera--- an all around good time. Currently they are looking for both a communications specialist and fundraising professional. The positions are based in Toronto.

+ DreamNow: Athletes for Africa is run by a friend of DreamNow's named Adrian Bradbury. We met him through the Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation when he was named a Gordon Global Fellow in 2006.

The Deal:  Campus Progress is affiliated with the Center for American Progress and is focused on training, developing and raising the next generation of progressive leaders. They help young people's voices get heard through activism, journalism, events and a whole range of programs that are worth reading about. This position is a networking and coalition building position tied to real grassroots organizing. You will manage four others and require a bachelors degree and three years experience in the advocacy world. It all happens in Washington.

[One of their members is one of our favorites and is also looking for board and funding partner members--- the Haymarket Peoples Fund] The network of members of the Funding Exchange give out nearly $15 million dollars a year as a collective to grassroots organizations. They are based in New York and they are looking for a new Executive Director. If you have social justice background and have had experience managing an organization then you should apply.

The Deal: ONE is the campaign that is headed by Bono and is working around the world to end poverty and avoidable disease. They are a media-savvy, young and fast paced group that is growing. You have probably seen their videos from a few years ago, if not, check them out here.
