Conference: Ontario Youth Dialogue Sessions

The Deal: It's time to share your voice!

The Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services is launching face-to-face Youth Dialogue Sessions across Ontario.

You can help the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services develop the Youth Policy Framework report. The framework will be a practical resource to better understand how teens and young adults grow and develop.

Conference: Green Jobs + Social Innovation Retreat

Meaningful Work Project

Date: Friday April 29^th @ 6pm – Sunday May 1 2011 @ 3pm

The Deal: Meaningful Work is offering an opportunity to get involved in green jobs as well as a social innovation retreat, which will include interactive activities, breakout sessions and wilderness walks alongside inspiring professionals and guest mentors.  You will explore a common journey of how you can connect occupation with personal sustainability and create a community of practice.  It will be held at the Kananaskis Wilderness Hostel, with all accommodation and meals provided.

Event: A Toast to Social Entrepreneurship

Young Social Entrepreneurs of Canada (YSEC)

Date: November 25, 2010, 6pm – 10:30pm

The Deal: Young Social Entrepreneurs of Canada is hosting an event for social innovators to connect, inspire, and celebrate together.  Kicking the event off is a business pitch competition, for which two successful candidates will be awarded a $1000 business start-up loan by a panel of judges. After, there will be refreshments, presentations, and networking. You won't want to miss this event.
