    Competition: Dell Social Innovation

    Deadline: February 14

    The Deal: University students from around the world are invited to enter the Dell Social Innovation Competition.

    A seed grant of $50,000 will be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate-level student from any university or college in the world who has developed a financially viable, scalable venture whose main purpose is to address a significant social problem.

    Competition: EcoAction Challenge

    Earth Day Canada + EcoAction Teams

    Deadline: November 15th

    The Deal: “Did you artfully revive furniture headed to the dump? Bake a delicious cake with organic ingredients?  If you’ve created an original, eco-friendly project, tell us how you did it! You could win 1 of 12 Panasonic camcorders and cameras!” Earth Day Canada and its EcoAction Teams are challenging Canadian residents to take on an environmentally beneficial project.  To enter, send the details of an eligible project to ecoaction@earthday.ca.
