    Competition: Transit Related Essay Competition

    International Association of Railways (UIC) and American Public Transportation Association (APTA)

    Deadline: July 30th, 2010

    The Deal: APTA is a non-profit organization whose goal is to advance public transportation. Their Center for High Speed Rail is responsible for promoting and improving intercity rail systems. They strongly believe that we are on the verge of new innovative methods of transportation and are hosting this essay competition to get fresh ideas from college and university students. The essay must be on the relationship between innovation, the future, or telecommunications and High Speed Rail.
