Pittsburgh World Environment Day Partnership
Deadline: May 26th
The Deal: Pittsburgh Environment Partnership is holding activities in Pittsburgh from April 22-June 5 to bridge the gap between Earth Day and World Environment Day. The week is presented in partnership with the United Nations Environment Program. The Water Matters! Conference is to be held on June 3rd and aims to educate and inform about the future and protection of our water. The conference is one day in length, and at $25 if you are in the region it looks like it would be worth attending.
+ DreamNow: Although we have never worked with the Pittsburgh group directly we have worked and presented at a number of UNEP conferences before through their TUNZA program. Check it out if you are interested in the environment and want to meet others globally doing similar work.

The water conservation is critical to the next generation ... Between the rise in pollution and a desalination worldwide to stem the drought in Africa, it is important to address this issue quickly if we do not want to die of thirst soon!
